CP Group, one of the nation’s largest owner-operator of office properties throughout the Southeast and Southwest United States, today announced it has hired Virginia Dunning Tobeason as its first in-house Art Curator.

Tobeason will oversee the acquisition, registration, installation, management, security, and care of art exhibits and collections across CP Group’s portfolio to be displayed for the enjoyment of the tenants, visitors, and the general public. She will also be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing exhibits and displays, as well as fostering relationships with various museums and collectors who may loan their artwork to the firm for display.

CP Group has made art a centerpiece of its office properties as it continues to add value to its portfolio. Individual displays include a dedicated NFT museum and a 30-foot Hubert Phipps-designed “Rocket” sculpture at its Boca Raton Innovation Campus (BRiC) in Boca Raton, Fla.

Tobeason holds more than 30 years of experience in the art world, including the last 24 years serving as an Art Advisor with the New York-based Wooster Art Advisory, where she assisted and advised collectors with the purchase and sale of artwork and facilitated appraisals. Earlier in her career, she served in various art exhibition, appraisal, and cataloging roles at Sotheby’s and other galleries and auction houses in both New York and London.
