CP Group announced that it has completed a $2.2 million capital improvements program at its 390,000-square-foot One Overton Park in Atlanta’s Cumberland submarket. Renovations include a reimagined lobby that sets a new standard for the submarket, upgraded restrooms and corridors, as well as enhancements to the hardscape and landscaping at the building entrance.
CP Group acquired One Overton Park in June 2021 and immediately began the large-scale repositioning of the LEED Gold-certified office tower. One Overton Park is one of the most well-known, prestigious properties in the Cumberland area, with its prominent visibility along I-75.
“The renovation of One Overton Park brings it back to where it belongs – one of the most desirable office environments in the market,” said Scott Barr, Senior Vice President at CP Group. “This renovation will meet the demands and evolving needs of the firms who call One Overton Park home and companies seeking to upgrade their office space.”
CP Group is considering future enhancements to other amenity spaces at the near-fully-leased building. The property offers unmatched access to I-75 and I-285 and boasts an impressive suite of amenities, including a café, fitness center, conference center, and a high-end clothing retailer.
These updates come on the heels of unprecedented activity for CP Group over the last year, during which it executed multiple high-profile acquisitions in Atlanta — where its portfolio has grown from three million square feet to seven million square feet over the last three years — including the iconic Bank of America Plaza and CNN Center.
