ATLANTA, GA – January 25, 2017 – Crocker Partners is welcoming GE Digital’s first global digital operations center as the latest addition to the Prominence office tower in Atlanta’s Buckhead market. GE Digital chose the location following a national search. The move is reported to bring 250 high-paying jobs to the area and to further expand the region’s draw as a technology center.

Chris Eachus, Partner and head of Crocker Partners’ Atlanta Region, said GE Digital is leasing 35,000 square feet, nearly two top floors of the 18-story, 432,000 sq. ft. office tower, which is located at Piedmont and Lenox Roads. GE Digital has commenced operations at Prominence in temporary space while their new offices are readied for occupancy. Prominence also is home to the GE Transportation business, Eachus noted. Other prominent tenants include Wells Fargo Insurances Services, Capgemeni and Barnes & Thornburg.

Eachus noted that GE Digital executives cited Prominence’s location, proximity to other Fortune 500 companies, and a growing talent base in the area as factors in their decision. He said the move is a coup for the state, the city and Prominence.

In initially announcing GE Digital’s commitment last summer, Gov. Nathan Deal and Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed pointed to the decision as evidence of the region’s status as a “thriving hub for the technology industry” and a destination of choice for some of the world’s most advanced technology companies.”

In addition to Prominence, Crocker Partners’ Atlanta portfolio, totaling 3.1 million sq. ft., includes Regions Plaza in Midtown, Paces West and Cumberland Center II in the Cumberland submarket, Lakeside and Ashford Perimeter in the Central Perimeter submarket, and a three building portfolio on Windward Parkway in North Fulton.
