National real estate firm CP Group has notched its first acquisition in the Denver market, buying the 31-story Granite Tower office building in a deal that closed Sept. 3.

Florida-based CP Group was an early vaccine mandate adopter. But the firm spent time on addressing employees’ concerns and educating them about vaccine safety.

Weaver’s lease for space in Five Post Oak Park comes just weeks after CP Group acquired the 28-story office tower in July.

CP Group — formerly known as Crocker Partners — is preparing to build out 100K SF of flexible office space, dubbed worCPlaces, in half a dozen office towers in Florida and Georgia, Managing Partner Angelo Bianco told Bisnow.

In June, Boca Raton-based CP Group issued this mandate to employees: Get vaccinated or get fired. The real estate company owns and manages office and retail properties in Florida and throughout the Southeast, employing about 210 people who run buildings where thousands of people work.
